Oh London Fashion Week, I do love you. Kind of effortlessly glam and cool and always oh so edgy with the perfect touch of twee thrown in, all the things that define British fashion to me. Makes me so proud that we are so unique, innovative and fresh but still appreciate and utilse the classic and basic elements of fashion that work just as well. I knew I would love the Mulberry show and expected to enjoy Viv, as always, but I was surprised how much Matthew Williamson shone for me, and Antonio Beradi too for that matter. I know we're only four days in, but I'm exhausted from work this evening and the best thing I thought I could do with my time was to catch up on LFW and god I had a hard job choosing my top 5! Enjoying all the striking details and embellishments, muted colours with strong accents and feminine fabrics combined with masculine or oversized shapes. So happy to be enjoying fashion again. Again, I won't review the shows in a critical way because there are far, far better reviews to be read, but I would love to hear what you think. Who are your favourites so far? Did anyone see any shows you think I should be aware of? I've officially finished my summer jobs now and lazy student life can resume, excited to be able to use my free time for blogging this time round!
