Siren

Top: Zara, Jeans: Topshop, Bag: Farhi by Nicole Farhi, Lips: 120 Siren by No 7

Really enjoying being able to snap my outfits at the minute but it does add a certain amount of pressure to getting dressed in the morning! No rolling out of bed and staggering to uni in the same jumper I slept in (I don't really do this, I have thought about it though when it's too cold to get undressed/dressed again). A bit of a standard outfit today but I do really love this Zara tee, they have so many basics with brill details at the minute. The bag is pretty special too! I need to win the lottery this week because I went for a little look around the shops and could have spent a hefty amount on clothes and makeup... if I had any money at all. Do you think it's time to get stuck into spring/summer wardrobes?

Minty Fresh

Blouse: Forever 21, Jeans: Topshop, Bandeau: Primark, Nails: Minty Fresh from No 7

Sorryyy everyone but I decided against a Sunday post this week because, quite frankly, I had a pretty boring week that was mostly full days of uni work and actual work so there was nothing really to report! When I woke up this morning and was faced with the beautiful sunshine, of course I was happy but I did not have a clue what to wear! I'm not a fan of getting my legs out, especially in their current pasty state so I went with some really old jeans from Topshop and a lightweight forever 21 blouse so I didn't look too keen at the sight of the sun! I'm home for 2 weeks for easter at the minute and actually have very little planned so far so hopefully the next couple of weeks can be a little bit of a post fest to make up for being so rubbish! Me, my mum and my sister have posted LOADS of stuff on eBay this weekend, so check our listings out here, all very bargainous and some good labels in there!

I hope everyone has had a lovely mothers day and that you've spoiled your mums rotten! I had a perfect afternoon with my mum and my siblings and we stuffed ourselves with tapas. I hope you enjoy the terribly attractive photo of us, well she looks brill at least, so much love for my mum! It's been another lovely weekend after a silly busy week. Next week I'm working toward a big meeting for graduate fashion week on thursday so it's going to be long, long days at uni, boooo! I'll be back to blogging after then most probably and have two weeks at home so I hope to get on a roll with some posting, I'm getting annoyed by being so sporadic (thank you clueless for teaching me this word)! I did a little bit of shopping this weekend and cannot recommend Zara enough at the minute, I've picked up two tees from there recently, they have the best basics in! Also, Topshop are floating my boat by being so girly and lovely, excited for some sun! Be back soon!

Just Peachy

I made my first MUA purchase from my local Superdrug last week and after a little bit of deliberation over what to try first I decided that I wanted to add to my lipstick collection the most. I already have my perfect red (No 7 Moisture Drench in Siren) and a nice rosy pink from Benefit (Lady's Choice) that I'm using day to day so I went for something a little different for me and picked up this peachy pink colour, which is Shade 15 'Juicy'. For £1 you really can't go all that wrong and as I am on a very strict budget it was nice for me to be able to treat myself to a little something without having to worry about where the money for rent/food/bills is going to come from. I really love the shade and am so keen to wear when the sun comes out! I do wish that the colour was a little more pigmented but I'm really not going to complain about it for £1, I find it quite buildable anyway. The only real problem I have is that I currently have quite dry lips and this does seem to highlight that. It's not that it's drying, it just clings to the dry bits if you know what I mean (sounds pretty vile, sorry!). Does anyone have any advice on quick, cheap and effective ways to get rid of my chapped lips so I can wear this lipstick without having to slather on tonnes of lip balm?

Overall, I would say this is definitely worth a try for £1, I will 100% be going back for more lipsticks and more products!

Springtime leopard print nails: Rustled up a cheeky rib eye steak: Missed my nephews 5th birthday but he still wondered where 'Auntie Pippy' was: Ridiculous animal

It's been a pretty pleasant weekend this weekend, very chilled after a bit of rubbish week in parts! I was hoping to be able to post more in the last week but life and uni very much got in the way so sorry about that! I just thought I'd post you a couple of things that made me smile this week amongst all the stressing. I haven't done leopard nails and ages and I loved how they looked against the nude, sometimes I can be just as much a fan of an understated nail as I can bright, in your face manicures. I had my first telephone interview ever on Friday for an easter job at a camp, wish me luck I really need the money!!
