It's that time of year again, and while I'm so ready to put on my winter coat and boots, it's time for us to see what we'll be wearing next Spring/Summer! I thought blogging would be the best way to organise my fashion week thoughts this season as even though I am a fashion student, sometimes I just don't do my research. I find that studying fashion has sometimes taken away a bit of my passion and enthusiasm meaning I no longer get the same pleasure from reading fashion magazines or websites because it has just become about being stressed all the time. I've had some horrific lecturers, think 100 designs overnight and some pretty offensive language before the first term was up. Reading peoples blogs and now having my own has reignited the excitement though, which is wonderful!

First up, New York. I know there are still three days left but I am already overwhelmed with how amazing I've found it all. I love New York and the fashions that come out of NYC are ones that I can relate to my own life in a wearable but unique way. A lot of the designers are all about the cut and the fabric, with subtle and delicate decoration or print. That is how my ideal clothes are designed, with cut, fit and drape as the priority. I could have included almost everything, it's all been so inspiring and exciting in different ways. I won't review the collections because many people do that better than me. Just enjoy the images (I hope) and tell me what you think! Who have your favourites been and who are you looking forward to? I just can't wait for LFW, I feel so patriotic to British fashion, I envy all of those attending and being part of it, are any of you going? I'm hoping to be in London around the 18th to catch some of the excitement!

Oh god, whittling this all down was so tough but this post could have literally been never-ending! This is such a small amount of the beauties there are to be seen. Floaty fabrics, feminine details, subdued colours (bar Peter Som) and quirky headwear all round next year!
