Wednesday Wishful

Slippers: Topshop - I need a second pair of good quality flats really, to save me from getting through about 5 pairs from Primark and getting wet feet when it rains. Been wanting some slippers all summer and dalmation print is just too good to be true
Jeans: Both Topshop - Really desperate for a pair of proper high-waisted jeans (without the corset bit, y'know?) but also in love with the acid wash on these skinnies!
Skirt: H&M- I do need a black skirt like this as I don't own any (how?) and it will go with everything and make dressing that little bit easier. Being leather (faux) just makes it better
Jacket: Topshop - Desperate for some polka dots at the minute and this colour is amazing, not to mention the cut of it. I think jackets are my favourite thing, can never have enough.
Playsuit: River Island - A really easy piece to wear and I love sleeves!
Jumper: H&M - I just need something like this in my wardrobe. I picture myself throwing it on over patterned dresses and dresses that are a bit cold for winter.

I really like doing my seasonal shopping according to a list at the minute. I did it for the summer and I've done it so far for my A/W wardrobe and it works so well for me. I keep a list of all the things I will need or really really want in my Iphone notes and then delete when that thing is bought, don't know why I told you that as if it as some kind of intelligent process. Although I do pick up the odd piece that I haven't listed, I find it means I don't buy anything that I don't need and won't wear and it also means I buy far better quality. It also means that I love my wardrobe so much more than I did this time last year so I know I'll definitely continue shopping this way for a long time. I ticked off everything from my initial list (boots, flats, trousers, jumpers, and a good dress) but with uni approaching, I know there are a few essentials (and some naughty non-essentials) that I should purchase while I have the money and before I am a poor, poor student again! I doubt I will be able to afford everything on here, and equally there will be other more pressing essentials to spend my money on, but it's nice to dream isn't it!?

Does anyone else shop from a list? Isn't it so satisfying to tick things off it, lists are the key to happiness! Anyone got any super tips I should be aware of for managing my money as a student, because as yet I haven't quite got to grips with the concept of saving!

  1. You have a great blog here! I'm so glad I found it!

I shop via a list too. For example, on my list at the moment are high waste jeans and tennis shoes! I know that sounds a bit dated, but I like high waste jeans becasue they hide my love handles. also, tennis shoes are slightly smarter than trainers but are still comfortable.

Wishing you all the best with your blog,
    Voe.
